Soldier Spring Park

Park Hours: 6 a.m.-10 p.m.

Soldier Spring Park is divided into two sections. The upper section which can be accessed through Charles Street and the lower section through Thrush Street.

Perhaps the most recognizable part of Soldier Spring Park is the seven lighted, age-appropriate baseball and softball fields. These fields can be reserved, with respect to Weatherford Little League's schedule, by calling Weatherford Parks and Recreation, at 817-598-4124.

Map of the Ball Fields at Soldier Spring Park Soldier Spring Park, like Holland Lake Park, offers a piece of history on display. During the Civil War era, the area which is now Soldier Spring Park was used as a campsite for Confederate Soldiers.

Soldier Spring Park offers the City's lone municipal tennis complex. All 3 courts are completed with overhead lighting. With access on Charles, Thrush and Russell Streets, Soldier Spring Park offers an excellent trail system for your enjoyment. The network offers over one mile of inter-connecting asphalt and natural trails.

Walking these trails provides an excellent opportunities to see lots of native flora and fauna.

Soldier Spring also offers many locations for a picnic as well as a playground for your enjoyment.
