The presentation will be given by guest curator Mary Lane Garmon, daughter of the late artist, archaeologist, and historian Homer Norris. She will discuss her new book as well as the development of the exhibition (Goodbye to a Prairie - now on display at the Doss), which explores her father's beloved artwork, photographs, and personal reflections on growing up on the Fort Worth Prairie near Aledo, Texas.
