North Central Texas Workforce Solutions will be hosting a Career Boost event, as part of the new Career Team initiative to help educate the workforce in certain Target Occupations. The Weatherford Career Boost is scheduled for July 22 from 2-4, with a focus on the Healthcare sector.
When & Where: The event is Wednesday July 22nd from 2-4 in the Weatherford Workforce Center (large training room).
What: We will have 2 employers and 2 Training Providers from healthcare-related fields. Not a job fair but more educational, focused on giving the career-seeker more information on high-demand Health Professions. Sharing of industry knowledge from experienced professionals within the Healthcare industry. Including:
- Industry insight
- In-demand occupations
- Trends/analysis in our area
- Training pathways
Why: Part of a new initiative to share industry knowledge/expertisewith career-seekers who have an interest in learning more about healthcare occupations. Information will be shared on Labor Market Information (LMI), skills needed and training options available. Engagement with hiring managers and training partners to provide next steps and resources.
Who: Open to the public - focused on individuals who are starting their Healthcare Career track or experienced professionals wanting to learn more about targeted pathways in Healthcare occupations.
